People at Work for the People!

SMP Volunteers went to the Hawaii State Capital today to introduce the SMP Program to the Representatives and Senators of the current assembly before the 2013 Session opens tomorrow. Unlike most, these lobbyists are working for our seniors and all of us.

No Ordinary Holiday Party

Last Friday the 14th was our Oahu Holiday Luncheon at the Old Spaghetti Factory.  But it wasn't just a Senior Holiday Celebration. We also collected $250 dollars for the Ronald McDonald House and the volunteers drove over there and delivered it on Friday. Sincere thanks and Happy Holidays to all!

Do You Know NOVL?

The Network of Volunteer Leaders (NOVL) is a professional organization dedicated to enhancing volunteer leadership in Hawaii through professional development and mutual support of its members. NOVL envisions an active and caring community in which volunteerism and volunteer leadership are a vital and integral part of sustaining and contributing to Hawaii’s heritage. The Senior Medicare Patrol Hawaii is just one organization among many here in Hawaii that is part of this group. Here are a couple pictures from our November 2nd Conference.
